argh I have too many empty walls in my house and barely anything to put on them (aside from some prints in the livingroom by David Garibaldi) I’m thinking of either Camilla D’errico or Candybird for the bedroom tho. Cammilas style is both sweet and haunting and a bit twisted..so naturally I’m drawn to it hehe.. whereas Candybird is more sensual and teasing. I adore them both. I’m going for a neo-Baroque design style, and I think either artists work would compliment that nicely.
It’s that time of year again! The time of year for parties & costumes, pumpkin carving and haunted houses. My personal favorite holiday.. Halloween!
I always make a BIG deal out of it.. going to parties, throwing my own parties, dressing up, decorating the house in tacky cobwebs and inflatable gravestones, carving the pumpkin, buying candy er.. well that’s a new one. Up until recently I still went trick or treating. No seriously, me and a friend would get all decked out in dark loose-fitting costumes with masks (to hide the fact we are clearly not kids, just kids at heart!) and do the whole door to door thing. And it was just as much fun at 18 as it was at 8. Perhaps more fun because I could stay up late, party after and more importantly didn’t have to worry about the ‘rents digging into my candy and stealin’ all the good stuff *shakes fist* haha.. you know what I’m talking about. So as the years go by, this particular holiday has gotten progressively better!
Now the costume is something I take very seriously, prolly too seriously. But I start thinking about it merely weeks after Halloween passes, planning it out for the following year. I change my mind a bunch of times but usually I have it worked out to the last detail months in advance.
This year I just can’t seem to make up my mind. There’s too many cute options and none of them holds my preference more then the others. So with just a couple weeks to go and no answer in sight I thought maybe you guys can help me?
Few things define Old skool better then Atari. I came across this art series by =Surround http://surround.deviantart.com/art/SPACEINVADERS-82976204 and fell in love with his work. The colors are so vibrant.. I wish he’d make one for me *^_^*
I just got my ugly generic serato vinyls upgraded thanks to my boy Ronnie @ Fakemake Studio, a company that make serato vinyl stickers and laptop decals. I had them custom designed and I love love LOVE them!
The first design is my logo, the 2nd I wanted to do something with the bunny head, but more bad-ass so we X’d out the eyes and added crossbones. they are b0mb.
Want your own? you can order them right through this website:
